Mykonos Grace hotel

Our unbiased review

The Mykonos Grace hotel is a total contrast to any luxury hotel in Mykonos. The Mykonos Grace hotel embodies everything that is perfect about combining a visit to both Santorini and Mykonos; small spaces, traditional luxury and fabulous views on one and sprawling hotels, modern luxury and beautiful beaches on the other.

After a tough day tanning on the beach and enjoying the varied nightlife, it can feel good to hang the Do Not Disturb sign on your room handle and not bother waking up until the following afternoon.  At the Mykonos Grace hotel there is nothing as antiquated as a sign to hang on a handle, no, here there is a button on the inside which when pressed, causes a red light to flash by the exterior handle, indicating that you should be left in peace.

Luxury Mykonos hotels insider look from the Greek-advisor.com

Waking up in the stylish rooms after a sound nights sleep under the super-soft duvet, you make your way to the massive bathroom to prepare for another day.  Large mirrors, a steam room and in all but the standard rooms, a Jacuzzi await you inside and if you have a private pool, it can be accessed through a glass door inside the steam room and shower.  With the doors and windows closed, the rooms of Mykonos Grace hotel are almost silent so any outside noise is unlikely to disturb you.  When spending time on your veranda and you want the door open however, a clever system of magnets keep them open – a feature often needed on the breezy island of Mykonos.

A good way to start the day is by heading up to State of Grace, the hotel’s bar and restaurant.  Seated at the bar, a linen-clad barman serves you coffee.  Looking around at the pure white of the walls, the chrome and wood furniture, the hanging lights made with upside-down tea cups and saucers, you only hope you look as effortlessly cool and stylish as your surroundings.  Outside State of Grace is the large pool surrounded by double futons to relax and soak up the sun on.  The view from the pool bar of Mykonos Grace hotel looks out over the small harbor and out to sea, which is usually dotted with some of the luxurious cruise ships that visit Mykonos island.

The futons make an attractive distraction and are plenty large enough to enjoy along with a companion.  The hotel’s atmosphere is one of calm and cool – something that is reflected in the service of Mykonos Grace hotel.  It’s all very informal so you won’t be constantly tripping over a waiter desperate to take your drinks order, however, a member of staff is always on hand to assist should you want one.  Towels are complimentary by the poolside and back in your room, there is even a Mykonos Grace beach bag provided.

Luxury Mykonos hotels dedicate to quality the Greek-advisor.com

The Mykonos Grace hotel, aside from its fantastic modern look and innovative touches, also benefits from two rooms that would favor handicapped guests, both complete with oversize bathrooms, plus a dedicated lift for one of the suites, ensuring total privacy for the guests.

Luxury Mykonos hotels we know what you want to know

Tempting as it may be to spend day and night at the hotel, Mykonos Island is all about the pleasures of a night on the town.  Fabulously dressed guests pass through the hallways or sit in the plush reception area, complete with chairs so large they seem built for giants and a very unusual multi-shaded floor lamp.   You make your way through the little hallways and walkways, passing two triangular chrome pillars with cascading water shimmering down the sides as you exit the Mykonos Grace hotel.  However good an evening you may have, returning to the Mykonos Grace hotel is something you are certain to look forward too.
