After a tough day tanning on the beach and enjoying the varied nightlife, it can feel good to hang the Do Not Disturb sign on your room handle and not bother waking up until the following afternoon. At the Mykonos Grace hotel there is nothing as antiquated as a sign to hang on a handle, no, here there is a button on the inside which when pressed, causes a red light to flash by the exterior handle, indicating that you should be left in peace.

Waking up in the stylish rooms after a sound nights sleep under the super-soft duvet, you make your way to the massive bathroom to prepare for another day. Large mirrors, a steam room and in all but the standard rooms, a Jacuzzi await you inside and if you have a private pool, it can be accessed through a glass door inside the steam room and shower. With the doors and windows closed, the rooms of Mykonos Grace hotel are almost silent so any outside noise is unlikely to disturb you. A good way to start the day is by heading up to State of Grace, the hotel’s bar and restaurant. Seated at the bar, a linen-clad barman serves you coffee. Looking around at the pure white of the walls, the chrome and wood furniture, the hanging lights made with upside-down tea cups and saucers, you only hope you look as effortlessly cool and stylish as your surroundings. Outside State of Grace is the large pool surrounded by double futons to relax and soak up the sun on. The view from the pool bar of Mykonos Grace hotel looks out over the small harbor and out to sea, which is usually dotted with some of the luxurious cruise ships that visit Mykonos island.
